Rotors and pads noise
WebAug 12, 2011 · It almost sounds like the slotted rotors are cutting into the pads at a more pronounced rate; sounding annoying and feels disconcerning. I'm not sure if anyone has come across this, but it's weird almost. Around town, the brakes feel normal, but under "semi-hard" braking, it just feels like the slots in the rotors are creating an awkward sound... WebNov 20, 2011 · 1,313 Posts. Before I took the pads out I took a look to see if there was any space between the pad and rotor and while there wasn't much, if any, when I rotated the wheel there wasn't any noise.
