WebI have the exact same issue! My Elitebook 845 G7 randomly loses Ethernet connectivity when attached to the USB-C Dock G5. To fix the issue, I need to disconnect and reconnect the network cable from the dock. I also use the same dock with an Elitebook 840 G5 and it never disconnects, so it seems isolated to the AMD models. WebConfiguring Power Options to "Do Nothing" for Lid Close while on power allows the user to close the lid of their laptop and still use their desk monitors without putting the laptop to sleep. The problem is, when disconnecting the laptop from the dock Windows doesn't realize the system is not on AC any longer and continues to stay awake.
