Not grounding the strings to the electronics is a great way to get noise, and the bridge is about the only fixed contact point between the strings and the body that's close to the reset of the electronics. One under the bridge, one in the control cavity, and one in the neck cavity near the exit point. I don’t have any shielding in the cavities or on the pick guard to connect to.
