You could gland the armoured off and just clip and grommet the T+E right up to the box. Remember that any 'screwed' connection must be accessible. Hope this is of some help. At that point I want to connect the 2.5 to the armoured cable (2.5mm three core armoured).

WebJun 3, 2004 · The earth tail should be the same size as the SWA live conductors I would prefer to use this method rather than connect a short length of T&E as this makes less connections that could become loose later. My route would be to use crimp connectors on the live conductors and with the SWA, bunch them into a suitably sized crimp connector along with the CPC of the twin and earth.
